By far, the number one question I get asked my my readers is, "Do you have [insert gadget name here]?" So, I have decided to put together an entire section of my site dedicated to my gear. If you are interested in know what sort of software I use, browse on over to the my software page.
My main computer is a 15.4" Macbook Pro (Unibody v1.0) 2.4GHz/4GB/250GB, I purchased this laptop in October of 2008 the day the new unibody models hit the Apple store shelves. Along with this laptop I use an HP 22" widescreen high definition monitor, a Logitech MX Revolution mouse, an Apple wired full size keyboard, a 2.1 Logitech sound system, a 750GB miniStack v3 external HDD, and a 300GB W/D external HDD.
In May 2008 I purchased a Nikon D40 Digital SLR Camera. You can check out my photo collection, which consist of product images, general photography, and some personal/family photos, on my Flickr page. I am defiantly an amateur photographer, but I am slowly learning.
On top of being a huge technology geek, I am also a huge movie buff. I am a fan of all kinds of films ranging from Hollywood Blockbusters to Foreign Indy Films. In light of that, I would like to introduce you to my Home Theater System:
As far as my mobile gadgets go, my main cell phone is a black Apple iPhone 3G 16GB. I also carry around a Flip Mino video camera, and a Plantronics Voyager 520 bluetooth headset.
I am currently in the process of developing a media center PC. I am still gathering components, but it is going to be a Windows 7 based machine hooked in to my system via HDMI at 1080p. My plan is to have a 4gb HDD raid setup allowing me to rip all of my DVD's on to the machine. I will use Windows 7 Media Center to browse and watch my DVD's, and will use plugins to get Netflix "Watch Instantly," Hulu, and Amazon "On Demand" content to the TV. When this project really gets going, I will be posting a series of reviews and HOW-To's on the PC. Stay Tuned!
