Hello, I am Chris Lentz a 26 year old technology blogger and web developer from Atlanta, Georgia. I work for Collective Core, an Atlanta Web Design company. My true passion's in life are technology, gadgets, web development, and movies. I started blogging back in September of 2007 for various technology news blogs.
After writing for various sites for a few months, I decided to launch ATLChris.com which is a technology and internet blog with a little bit of personal stuff tossed in! I will be blogging about technology news, hardware and software reviews, and personal rants and editorials!
I fell in love with technology at a very young age when my dad first bought a DOS prompt computer. My first website I ever created was back in May of 2000. I created the site using Microsoft Frontpage and the free hosting service Tripod. Since then I have learned to script HTML, PHP, CSS, jQuery, and other common web development languages.
ATLChris.com is proudly hosted with Host Gator. Host Gator prides themselves on providing uninterrupted service and award winning customer support. With Host Gator, I will never have to worry about ATLChris.com going down as it grows and develops a larger following!
I am also going to be using a the web anaylitics program, called mint. This web application was created by the super talanted Shaun Inman. You can learn more about it at HaveaMint.com. It provides more then enough information for me to understand where my readers come from and what they are interested in.
ATLChris.com also uses the amazing discussion system called Disqus. With Disqus, I can gather comments and conversations, about my blog posts, from all over the web and agrigate them on to the blog post page. I respect all comments, positive or negative. You all are as much a part of this site as I am!
