Chris, I meant to say idrive.com that does not from the cloud drive if you delete from your computer . I do use dropbox, but it always syncs with your dropbox folder. On the other hand idrive does it only if you ask it to say sync with your computer.

While this is a shameless plug, I am going to let it slide because it seems like a quality option for windows users. I would like to see a MS X version of it.

Chris, have you tried drop box. I have used drop box for a while and found it to be useful. I believe you can optionally choose not to replicate deletes, so if you delete the file from your computer, it does not delete it from the cloud drive. I have tried out Amazon S3 few months ago. I was impressed with it. Did you know Microsoft announced that they are coming out with cloud version of SQL Server ? Microsoft calls it Mesh Technology.

If you are on Windows you can use CloudBerry Explorer for Amazon S3. With FTP like client it makes managing files in S3 EASY http://cloudberrylab.com/ It supports most of the Amazon S3 and CloudFront features and It is a FREEWARE.
